Meron Alon (b.1985) is a self-taught visual artist, writer and director. She's written numerous TV, feature, and stand-up projects and her short films played in festivals in the US, Japan, Australia, Portugal and others. Her most recent comedy short TOO GOOD, starring seven-time Emmy winner Jean Smart & actor and comedian Lil-Rel Howery premiered opening night of Oscar-qualifying film festival HollyShorts.
Her artwork has been exhibited in group and solo shows. In 2026, she'll exhibit a solo show Heaven: is it going to be fun? with Arte Fits Foundation, Puerto Rico. A hardcover book of her works on paper will be published in 2026 in collaboration with BookArt Canada. She is a graduate of Tel-Aviv University (BA), and Stanford University (MBA).
Her film work invites viewers to question their own preconceptions, aiming to disrupt conventional thinking, challenge the rigidity of the mind, and encourage a deeper exploration of gray areas. Topics explored include class, relationships/freedom, morality, sexuality, climate and more.
Her visual work explores geometric abstraction and concepts of sacred geometry in various media including painting, sculpture and textile. Through use of shapes and high vibration colors, she explores the physical representation of the underlying order of our reality. The work is a reflection of the profound tension that exists at the intersection of structured reason and boundless imagination, the rational and the irrational, the known and the unknown — a tension that defines the human experience.
